« on: January 23, 2002, 09:29:25 AM »
I have a new vid card otw,and now I find out that it's prolly gonna help in two ways, little and none.

I haven't looked yet,but wil on install of new vid card, wheter I have all micron ram.I'm not to up on ram so could use some help.Someone give me some ideas on how to remedy this situation please.

You said your r/w score sucked. Compared to what? DDR / RDRAM?

You can bet your bottom dollar it will suck compared to those, simply because they're faster :)

However if youre getting unusually low mem scores and since you have a via board, I suggest you look out fresh drivers for the motherboard. VIA uses miniport drivers etc. which affect the performance a lot.
