Best Buy has them on the shelves here for $80

or online:
http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=11084608&m=488&cat=544&scat=545

be sure to get the replacement policy for $10 more, BB gave me the difference back from my X36 when I picked up the X45 so they gave me $30+ to take the X45 :)

Check with JimBear, he was ready to sell his last night in CA :)

"Not available at this time" on that link Eagler, they must be selling fast.  Time for them to double that production line!

Go to your local Comp USA - they had them the other day.

The stick feels very different from an X36... has that huge-ass spring on it like a Cyborg 3d... if you haven't, go get hands-on with one before you buy one.

Rip, a buddy of mine that I work with has been looking since the week before Christmas.  Every online site he has looked is sold out, and we've been to St. Louis, Atlanta, and Raleigh/Durham in that period as well for work, and every brick and mortar store we looked was sold out as well.

If you find any, let me know plz.

I'm getting desperate too. Waiting and waiting for my X45 to come, but the shop from where I ordered it, seems to move their "coming to stock" week more and more ahead, doh!
If you have trouble to find it from states and finland is the last place on universe to have them, then I'm totally lost! Soon I have to start looking other sticks :(

Rip I get mine from CompUSA , because they have a 10 buck return store warr.

My x 36 just went tits up :(  , going to Lasning tomorrow , lets hope they have one .

Don't try and play WW2Fighters :( think that game hosed the stick insides ???????????????????????? Must be it worked fine till I tried it out .

IMO never buy any Saitek stick without the one year store warr. it's worth it to get a brand new stick for 10 bucks .
My current Ace's High handle is spro

an hour ago they called me and told they've got few and will send to me if my order is still in effect :)

X45 profile

to help you get started. This profile is set for external peds but can easily be changed back to rudder on throttle

as someone else pointed out in another X45 thread, grab some powdered graphite to eliminate the sticking when making small stick moves

have fun

Rip...

Call the local Best Buy or Circuit City before going there

The website indicated they had some at my local Best Buy.  Quantity one equaled the on on display.  No thanks.

According to the BestBuy employee I talked to, the sticks are selling fast and they are drop shipping them from stores with inventory to satisfy online orders.

They offered me 10% off the display model, but as he was offering me this, I watched all sorts of *colorful poor white trash* slam the stick around, drop it on the floor, etc etc.  Nah, I'll hold out for a factory-new/sealed unit

The Cougars sound great....don't know if I really want to spend that much.  But, TM has a good name for being rugged.

yay.. got mine :)

only things i dont like in comparison to CH F16 combatstick, is that whatever slip button for lil' finger and stiffer stick with less movement radius.
Once used to easily yank stick in wide radius, it's very odd...
