give the perk system a chance to work before we all start this monkey business.

For One, the perk rides we have IMO are NOT that apealing to most flyers, i know that is a generalization, but from the guys I've talk too and the lack of 152s and tempests that I've personally seen Not many plp are flying em.  This could be for various reasons, who knows.

Lets add a few more perks to the system and I will bet you will see people start flying higher ENY value aircraft to accumulate those perks.  As of now, the simpleton, because he doesnt give an rats bellybutton about the 152 and temp will fly anything he wants without consideration for perks.  People, WE HAVE THE ENY VALUE IN PLACE.  If you want to fly your chog and niki you will never get your hands on that ME262.

With that in mind, when we have a few more UBER perks that people actually want to fly people will realize that flying the low eny aircraft is a slow road to nowhere.

No offense to the temp drivers and 152 jadgfliers those are great aircraft, just not what i want to spend my perkies on.

BTW, <picks up the broken record titled "I hate chogs and nikis" and cuts cit's throat with it.>
bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

if you perk the f4u1c and N1k2 people will fly high ENY value planes and use their perks to fly these aircraft.

step back for a moment and rationalize why these aircraft are flown much more than others. their total fighting strengths are in a way more than the sum of their parts.

variety suffers as a result
Fester was my in game name until September 2013

I wonder if HTC could try one tour or even just one week without the chog, or with it perked?

Actually I have no problem with perking the top ten planes based on k/d stats for the previous tour.

Just keep the purchase price relitive to the planes position on the list. IE a sliding scale from 10 perks to fly the #10 plane to 100 perks to fly the #1 plane.

Things would quickly balance out I think.

OR you could fly what you want, and let the other guy fly want he wants.  May the best pilot win.  Oh yeah, I forgot...it's the plane, not the pilot that kills you.

Hell, it's a pretty crazy idea, but it just might work!

I think La7, and Dora (spit 14 when it comes) should be perked at low cost - say 5-10 perks. I can easily chalk up 5-10 points in a mission in the P51-B, so it aint too much perk points IMO.

This would cut them down by half or so.

I have no problem with chogs or nikis being non-perked. la-7 and Dora's are kinda a little bit unbalancing IMO.

I love the the guy in the sky.

For some reason i think the whole idea of the perk system is confusing to you.<YALL>

Lets start from the begining.  OK do you EVER want to fly a super hot WW2 plane in a mutiplayer enviroment.????

The planes that really kick assssssss.  Introduce them to a  planset and what do ya have...a MA full of temps and 152s and 262s...is it that hard to understand.?

The perk system is a way to implement the "what if"..you guys want what ya know and are uncomfortable with the unknown..

That is the defo of a Gdamn dweeb.

A planeset can NEVER see certain aircraft on a FULL TIME BASIS EVER!!!!!!.

262,temp..put them in the planeset full time and you will never see a hog again...you  idiots.

Some whiners might say, i would never get the chance to fly a 262..then if ya play that little, chances are you would never fight one either. AND if your lucky enough for one to jump you, then fight the Gdamn thing...you might get lucky chiken chit.

you suck.

This is a great reason FOR perking the C-Hog and the Niki.  Then there would actually be perk planes that people WANT to fly.  We've
proven that with the stats above.

It seems very clear from the stats above that the F4U-1C is the undisputed king of the arena.  Given the goals of the perk system, (to prevent a single plane model from dominating the arena) the logic to perk the -1C is overwhelming.
