The 1st Air Commando Group is recruiting. We are a somewhat new squad to AH that was founded in November. Out of an initial establishment of 7 members, we have declined to only two regular members, plus three that seem to have quit playing AH. As a consequence, this is a good opportunity for somebody that wants to get in on the building, or in this case rebuilding of a squad.
We fly in the MA and the CT, and if we get enough people will fly in the TODs as a squad as well. Check our website if you are interested, actually check it even if you arent interested because I think its a pretty cool website.
http://www.ghostrider305.com We have no current squad night time set, although the two of us that are left, mostly fly at night on the weekends. The 1st ACG is based on a real historical unit, that flew P-51s, P-47s, C-47s, and B-25s among other types. It was like a miniature air force of its own.
I value teamwork and sense of humor in an applicant more than flying skill. You can always learn to fly better, but if your attitude sucks than we dont want you. We wont try to boss you around or control what you do or fly in AH. We fly our historical mounts when operating on squad nights etc, but otherwise you can fly what you like. I would like to get about 8 new people initially. At that point recruiting will stop until we all get to know each other and work together as a team. Then we can add more people as we find them, a few a time.
