Returning to the fold, an XP and CH products question
« on: January 29, 2002, 03:11:42 PM »
Hi, I used to play warbirds a couple of years ago.  A career change made me put away my joysticks and pick up my books.  I am keen to get back into the swing and have a harware question.

I am now running XP on a AMD 1.2G machine.  I still have packed away my non USB CH F16 fighterstick, my pro throttle and pro pedals.

I have read the CH wesite and emailed CH tech support with no reply.  Can I use these stick/pedals and throttle in XP?  Can I program them with speedkeys in XP?

Thanks for your help,

Colin

And it is!

Moving to hardware and software-doh.

Sorry I can't tell you the answer (I use the USB versions) but maybe you can locate something at http://www.stickworks.com

I'm not sure this is correct, but this is what i've heard from other players....

Windows based speedkeys will not work with xp
DOS based speedkeys will work

Sorry, just don't have all of the facts:)

Rude is correct, it will work but you need to program it in DOS.
