Not that it's a thing worth yelling about (to me). AKD has far more meaningful stats, and even they show only a glimpse of the whole picture.

But in the end, what does any score have to do with an intelligent opinion? Saying "I'm #3, so you have no right to tell me anything" is silly and grade-school.

My opinion, Mr.X? I don't care about your evaluations of other player's styles or choices of planes (in the other thread). That you happen to be #3 currently in the stats doesn't dispose me to value those comments any more than before. About the only thing you can tell me that would be valuable is how to juggle game variables to arrive at a high rank- but then, I already know how, I'm just not interested. The fact a person with two sorties is ranked above you should tell you how valuable your basis for your opinion is.

After I skillfully dusted the guy in his PNZR with my M8, he grabbed a tiffy and waxed me as I egresssed towards a more useable defensive position.

Afterwords he typed on open:

The fact that he has 223 kills, 21 assists and only 15 deaths in fighter stats is marginally impressive but his online persona nullifies any serious contemplation of respect.

Agree SWulfe, fighter scoring system is totally porked, but not only that one, bomber scoring too, and so on. Actually scoring pos means nothing.

If you agree it means nothing then why bring it up to infer you are somehow better than others? One thing it does do is gives a good indication of your maturity level.

The only "stat" that matters in AH is how much others fear or respect you.  If you have to constantly remind people of your rank, it's because you aren't getting the respect you feel you deserve.  Well, tough.  One step toward earning that respect is to stop shoving meaningless rank in everyone's faces as if it means something other than your being score-obsessed.

Similar thing happened to me yeager...i was a pazner...his dora attacked me, i nailed him with a 75mm from the panzers main gun. He was mad, and came back in a typoon and killed me. Yea...that takes a lot ok skill....not!

All of yuor kills Ramgerk are vulches, and tank kills. Not impressive at all. You should just STFU.

Yeha, and Overall rank is so hard to gain, fly a few sorties of each and you're down to top 20.

About the only tidbit of info that ever interests me from scoring breakdowns is what plane(s) a person flies. I can't muster much respect for those that concentrate on the dweeb rides. Someone that puts up a good fight and does so in the less-than-uber rides (encompassing both genres, b&z and stallfighters), regardless of what the stats say, is worthy of my respect...er, potentially anyway . The rest of the numbers always have been, and always will be, completely irrelevant.

I unknowingly met Mr.X a few weeks ago, and he did create a lasting impression.  I foolishly gave up a minor e advantage, he managed to turn the tables, and he shot me down.  This happens, and normally I would have just gone on with my flying.  I've flown online since WB 1.0xx, and met and respect a lot of my fellow pilots.  

What really made the impression of Mr. X (RJ), though, was not his skill, not my being beaten.  It was his comment directed at me after winning, which was something to the effect that I was a dweeb and an idiot, just for losing to him.

Mr. X, respect is not earned by points or by skill.  Respect is earned by how one conducts oneself, and you lost mine the minute I read your little outburst.  You may even rise to be #1 on the stats, but you will always be dead last until you show a little respect for others, both winners and losers.

Yea, i notice after every kill, RJ makes a curt remark, like "Ohh that was sooo nice" or "dweeb, haha!"

I had an incident with him a few weeks ago.I was flying a Lanc and he approached in a 109.I put the nose down and turned away from him.He closed from the side and I poured mg's into him landing most and he died real quick.I gave a "S!" and he laid into me accusing me of warping.I'm like.."What??"...He goes"Yeah,you were purposely downloading a program when I closed you loser!"...Oh well.So I continue home and he comes again with another 109(very revengefull sod this guy)...He closes again and this time he gets me...Didn't hear any complaints about downloading programs that time...

    yup not impressive at all looks to have 15 deaths to many now if he had 0 deaths that would be impressive.


   no need to be braging if you have 1 death or more.
