Loose Deuce Shootout - Round 1 ready
« on: February 02, 2002, 01:03:49 AM »
http://events.simladder.com/loose_deuce1.php

It's up to you to coordinate with your opponent and fly your match. Please try to finish your match by Midnight  Friday, Feb. 8th.

Send all results to me ( exile@austin.rr.com ) and I'll post them as I receive them.

One thing to remember... We plan on running these one right after the other. So it's really up to you how often these tournaments take place. ;)

If there are scheduling issues that cannot be settled by you, please contact either AKNimitz or myself and we'll make a decision whether or not to extend the round or to declare a forfeit for one of the pairs.

Have fun guys!!

Scanning the list for easy kills, I noticed you have skernsk and argyll listed twice (being them they probably registered twice).

Just though of somthing....

The CM Team really needs to get over the thing that happened between me and them on the TOD (Black Sea Frame 3). I feel that i have been put against the "Best Team" (nimitz/curly), just becasue they dont particualy like me and Soviet. You guys really need to get over that and move on...i see you havnt. Will I face them? Sure, Will i probally lose? Yes. So i guess it is mission acomplished for the CM team. Congrats.

Canucks ... whaddya gonna do with em?? ;) Looks like skernsk registered as "slernsk" the first time around.

Animal/Hangtime will take the "slernsk" slot.

The round was randomly seeded which means you were not purposely put up against anyone.

LOL, JoeCrip - think you are being a bit paranoid there!  ;)  From the Loose Deuce web page:

"After the 5-day registration period, the teams will be randomly assigned into a 32-team bracket.
(registration does not guarantee a slot)"

So you see, no fix - just the luck (or otherwise) of the draw!  :)

Yeah, I would like this info as well. Also seems awfully fast for first round seeing how this event just opened. Be nice to have this first round extended 1 week to say maybe Feb. 15th? how bout it CM staff? An extra week to get this first round rolling?

"When one considers just what they should say to a new pilot who is logging in Aces High, the mind becomes confused in the complex maze of info it is necessary for the new player to know. All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC
