The high payload (300 to 900kg), high speed (261mph max) , heavy armed (one 7.7mg fixed forward, one 7.7 trainable to the rear), replacement for the Ki-3.

The Ki32 ( I hope;)  )

The Breda Be.65 would be in the same class:D

Interesting photo. The markings appear to be from the 22nd Sentai but from the references I have they only flew "Tojo's" & "Franks". Wonder if this is a squadron "Hack" A/C? Hmmmm...
