Still finding my feet..which side to give my allegiance to? Do people tend to stick with one, or move around? if the former which one, and why?
Dont want endless whingers....just a bit of fun...

is it a country thing...ie. are certain countries / continents prevelant to certain game countries?

Cheers!

I think giving life long alligeance to a chess piece is kind of silly. Fly with the people you like. There are a lot of great sticks and good all around guys in just about any "country" you may choose to hang your hat in.

I would move around more if it weren't for the fact the squad I'm in only chooses between two for some reason.

Variety is the spice of life someone once said and it is true as far as switching countries every now and then. It lets you get aquainted with some different people each time you do.

Oed-

Where do you find the time to dig up a thread from almost a year ago? That's amazing.

Good thing we use AH Voice now. If we kept making those Roger Wilco  mistakes we never would have become the greatest squad in Aces High.;)

That is some pretty fun stuff, I have to admit.

I like, "ImnotsuspiciousMAW" the best.

My squad used rotate among the countries (about a year ago.)  I can tell you with some assurance there are few differences among the countries so far as people issues go.

Last February, the Bishops were consistently outnumbered on a night by night basis, so we started flying Bishop.  We've made a lot of friends among the Bishop and it's difficult to move away from them --- no, it's not an allegiance to a chess piece, rather it's a desire to participate in a game with old friends.

Today, both Bishops and Rooks are consistently outnumbered by the Knights.  The Rooks are consistently outnumbered by the Bishops.

Because of low Rook numbers, it's very difficult to make strategic plans.  Frequently you find yourself in the situation where if you participate in a mission, it's almost certain you will lose another base.

So, my advice is this: Fly rook and make some friends.  If for some reason you don't like your companions, fly Bishop.  If you don't like the guys in both Bish and Rook land, go play fighter ace. :)

there were some others.. can't remember though.. lol

it was even funnier in person on RW because we (Assassins) had tapped into the channel and withheld comment for a looong time.
we were cracking up to the point of tears trying not to give ourselves away..
then HB says.. HEY.. LOOKIT THE RW LIST!!

lol.. that's when we started changing our 'names'   :)

still gives me a chuckle.. what a classic!

and the MAW guys were damned good sports too..
