It`s true, the World IS a disc, and the stars are points of light upon a bowl, for I have seen it in my firey chariot (an Ar234 hereafter known as Binky). Having d/l`d 1.06 yetserdy, I`ve done a few test sorties, and out of curiosity wondered how high the Arado would go. 40,000ft came and went.. 50.. 60... hmmnn.. to cut an otherwise long story short, at the time my fuel gave out, I`d reached a smidge over 100,000ft.

Some interesting effects, looking about as you get way high... at some point UNDER 80,000ft you are higher than the midday sun (or midnight moon). And above some height or other - I don`t know where the transition comes, unfortunately - the stars are all below you, too, the night sky above being solid black. And the world does inded appear to be a disc high up(because one could notionally see further than the software normally renders terrain out to).

I havent had another go at this yet to ascertain whether I found a bit of a flaw in the Ar234 FM or whether I chanced upon a particular climb value perhaps used for test purposes, but I have NO complaints about this - it was interesting looking at the visual effects and pondering why they occur. Otherwise, this is a great release of AH!

Incidentally, you can put in negative times for night, back to -6 hours. And I`ve run the night sky with time speeded up 60-fold... -the night sky really gives a feel of being out in the big wide open, rather than a very large room, especilly with AH`s cloud effects! I`m getting to like this game more and more as time goes by.. :-)

Interesting....

So getting a man to the moon is not so difficult after all?

Good thing the LW didn't try this in 1945.  Bad news.
