What is the point of the CT? The CT was created to cater to the group who wanted to fly historical matchups. Period. That's it.
Well, guess what? About 2-3% of the AH guys are interested in historical matchups and when this was discovered, certain groups started looking for ways to promote the CT.
Guys who worry about what other guys fly are not potential mentats. Guys who worry about "fighting the good fight in a 1 versus 1" should take up pool. It's a nice game.

I'm not saying that 1 vs. 1 fights aren't fun. Why heck, why don't you hustle right over to the CT and all 2 of you in there can have all the 1 vs 1s you want!

Let's suppose all of this endless (seemingly) propaganda had its desired effect and most of us moved from the MA to the CT. What would happen?
Well, forget those 1 on 1s.

Thing of the past! Let's fast forward on the successful CT to 6 months+. The biggest whine on channel 1 will be "HTC, when are you going to bring more new planes out?"
Lol guys, it's a game! Any correlation between Aces High and actual events is purely accidental. OTOH, man, what a game. Endless entertainment ... where else can I watch Fatty deliberately auger while shooting a chute, mathman deliberately auger a me-262 shooting a VH and yet, at the same time, have some incredibly exciting moments in ponies/109s fighting each other at 15k+. Where else can I find 8 high altitude buffs and I'm in a higher pony?
Anyone who sneers at plane choice or arena choice needs a speedy check 6 on attitude. Hitech? How about it? Give us a "attitude check 6" button so we can annoy this group? Maybe the attitude check 6 call should flash the South end of a North bound donkey.
