I am sory that I have been forced to use 50meg's dot com for my picture storage, after I post a pic it takes about 10 to 30 min for it to apper, somtimes longer, I hope MSN get's it toejam together so I can use them again, hopefully this will not go on much longer.

Look at that vision slit. With the hatch closed, you should be able to see pretty much *nothing* when bumping around all over the terrain.

I'm glad I'm not an Italian tanker and this is 1941.

Ah! Those "magnificent men in their iron soapboxes"...

BTW the semovente 75/18 was the only Italian "Tank" of wich the British had really respect for as it was a very small target and its 75/18 cannon was very dangerous.

As for the other tanks, they were self-propelled tombs...

Carro Commando (M13/40 chassis) and Semovente da 75/18's, they are:)

The Semovente da 75/18's were realy not all that bad, very comparable in terms of overall efectaveness to the Stug. III.

Uh..say what?

Lets see, the StuG IIIG (I assume you are comparing it to the IIIG, or did you mean any earlier variant of the StuG?) has:
better armor,
better quality of weldings and metal quality in armor,
better gun,
better ammo for that gun,
better MG's,
better manuverability,
better durability,
higher speed,
better optics,
better range,
better escape routes for crew,
better vision from inside (vision slits as well as prismas),
a radio.

The Semovente has:

Ben, are you referring to the uniqe ability of the AB40 to drive in both directions (forward & backward) at all speeds, having two driving seats (one per each direction), or are you just trolling around?
