Any La7 pilots notice the La7 verticle stabilizer is not in the "6" view?. I fly La5 and the stabilizer is there...just an observation and hope it is fixed.

It's there you just need to move your head around with your cursor keys to see it.

It's there. You need to set your rear view to see it, however.

By the way, that was a great fight we had the other day. You could have escaped, but tried a HO attack. Bad idea against the C.205, with its good cannons and centerline MGs. You did ping my oil cooler, but we were close to my field, so no sweat getting back. :p

You discovered what all of those who fly the La-7 learn (including me too), you can't out-turn the Macchi, so don't try. Keep your E up and avoid head on runs. Also, at medium altitudes, the C.205 is as fast as the Lavochkin. I've fought and killed 205s while flying the La-7, and it's never easy. Don't get sucked into a turning fight.

Earlier that evening, you vulched my Spit after it took a hit to the radiator, and its engine conked. I tried to spoil your shot, successful the first time. However, once the wheels touched down I could only hope you were a lousy marksman. You weren't.....:D

I'll look forward to future encounters, as I really enjoyed our brawl.

My best,

Widewing
