If a BD-5 can fly through a hangar...can a Lanc? (Pics)
« on: February 04, 2001, 12:12:00 AM »
Maybe this all started because I have a BD-5...

...and the BD-5 is famous for this....

(As seen on the James Bond movie "Octopopsicle")

So, some of us morons were fooling around this evening.  Chunder, Cheetah and Dragon17, as well as a few others, managed to shove airplanes of all sizes, and some even inverted....thru a hangar....

Here's the screenshots

Nice flying!

I can get a B-26 through alright, but always seem to have a slip problem with the Lanc and B-17.  Any tips?? LOL

Flying through hangars is fun. I do it from time to time for the heck of it.

Some of the ways I like to do it:

*  Inverted thru both fighter hangars
*  Thru the vehicle hangar (popeye did it    before me)
*  On takeoff just after lifting off

Makes for fun films afterwards.

Thanks!  I'm not much of a builder, I am more interested in flying, so I'm saving like crazy to send it to the factory to be finished and equipped with only the best of everything.  LCD panels, turbine/turboProp engine and the works.  A real labor of love!

iculus,

(and to anyone else attempting the same thing)

Chunder show me a way to get the Lanc and the B17 thru the hanger.  Just go slow enough that you're near stall speed, that way, your tail is much lower, low enough for it not to get hit by the top of the hanger when you're flying thru.

Have fun!
