Zigrat.. we havin fun yet?
« on: March 11, 2001, 09:11:00 AM »
Yo.. sorry we we punched out yer HQ fer about 20 min last night. It's kinda a convouluted story. Seems Creamo, Skernsk and myself were comparing notes on perk points and we discovered that Creamo needed just a few more to try out an arado.

Since we'd just rolled over about 10 rook fields we figuered we'd head on over to HQ from 34 (about 30 miles) and do the dirty deed. No sooner did we lift off with 4 unescorted lancs for a low altitude on map run (as opposed to the rook off map route) we started hearing 'gangbang' noises on the channel 1 radios commin from over there in rookland.

Now we talked it over and decided that since:
1. We'd already laid waste to 10 rook fields to get next to your HQ
2. hittin knit HQ was outta reach of our beer supplies
3. You guys were whining so piteously
4. The resta the bish had already perk-point farmed the resta the facilities in reach

.. well in any case; it seemed the thing to do. The 4 low unescorted lancs continued on towards Creamos anticipated arado point award.

One 190 showed up.. but missed on three passes so, lacking any further reason to dally we lined up and egged hell outta the place. Finally the 190 got a lanc, but that was after we egged the dump. Creamo and Skernsk and I, happy FDB's that we are; returned to base unmolested. Another FDB first.(lack of molestation)

But Zigrat, not all was lost... from the rook standpoint anyway. Seems that for our heroic unescorted assault from low alt; on-map of your precious undefended HQ, Creamo got .34 perk points.

Thats POINT 34.

ROFL!

Just another day in the MA.

There was 39 Rooks online at the time, a pair of 152's would have been into us in 4-6 minutes tops and could have made their whole evening. Thats exactly why their in the game.

Anyways, .34 points for a 14,000lb load...sheesh!

Still havent got enough to try the LW "A" thingie jet bomber.

I would assume Zig is having plenty of fun Hang. He sounded quite happy on RW yesterday as his missions enabled us to capture field after field.

Think they were knit though, as they had about 35 more players than us, and you bishes only had a 20 man advantage. I suggested taking some of your bases, but Zig showed mercy on you guys, as your numbers werent quite high enough

2 Knit resets in a 12 hour period on Sunday... ...the numbers were in Knits favor, which further adds ammunition to my case that the HQ's need a dedicated ME163 field where these babies can be launched with limited fuel for bomber intercepts.  (And/Or giving perk planes to losing side down to ,say, 2 fields)

Simple observation here, but wouldnt this simply allow the oppressors the opportunity to pad their scores even more due to the fact that the oppressed will be vulched on takeoff in perk planes, thereby leading to more perk points being earned by the oppressors?

If so, I like it.

You gotta love the human spirit.

We make it a practice to admire those who stand tall.
We make it a practice to punish those who are weak.
We make it a practice to publicly denounce the mistreatment of those who are weak.
Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

I guess it's more fun to suck up those petty little .34 perk points than to provide your opponent with just enough tools to give you a decent battle.

Creamo. As for the TA 152's being 3-4 minutes away...who would you suggest should fly those 152's.
The tactical spread of the 39 Rooks was 1/4 of the opponent. Had 2 pilots tried to get 152's to those buffs, they would have likely been caught enroute.  Not to mention that by leaving the area they were defending, another base would have fallen in the steam roller advance of the Knits and Bish.
