WWIIO has the best flight model!

It says so right here so it must be true:p
PROOF!

It's true because I've seen planes fly by so I know how they should feel. I also know 3rd grade math so Hoof's numbers are right.
I have been reborn a new man!

Notice I never said a better man.

Hehehe...it must be true because CRS never lies.;) :D

Shame there's no flying blenhiem, otherwise i would be able to disprove CRS that one can't go vetical 90 degrees at 120mph from take off, stall and recover with a few 100ft to spare.:D

But ww2ol FM is so accurate (note it is says the best, not accurate) it must have been able to do this:D.....heheh.

Don't don't me started on the "Never ending stor-E" FM of ww2ol:D
"Willy's gone and made another,
Something like it's elder brother-
Wing tips rounded, spinner's bigger.
Unbraced tailplane ends it's figure.
One-O-nine F is it's name-
F is for futile, not for fame."

Hey it must be true if they're using the proper "dobody fluidented" figures. :D
I have to admit - I had no idea what the heck this "dobody fluidented" meant til I read a post whining about a filter changing "cockpit" to "chickenpit"... Then the penny dropped:
D'oh! Even English isn't fully implemented yet in ww2ol! :D

We've faithfully modelled all aspects of real life combat using our wunder physics model. Except doors. And bits falling off the aircraft. And drag from bombs. And... etc etc.

IMHO il2 wins the best physics model award - because it has the best modelled sun. The sun in ww2ol, ah & wb3 is so hopelessly undermodelled it's just sad - you couldn't hide the invisible man in it, and the sun is paramount to a lot of the tactics of WW2 air combat. I know stuff all about the pros & cons of FMs - but I feel a lot more certain about what the sun looks like. Maybe flight sim programmers have been stuck inside too long poring over test data "dobody fluidents" to remember what the sun looks like. ;)
