Notes from the h2h waste land.

The news that the artwork for spits is being changed sounds ominous. H2H is one arena, after another, filled with spitfires busily HO'ing each other. A big reason for this, is that outside views are usually enabled. This makes ducking an HO a lot tricker.  The reason they do it is obvious. The legendary one ping HO ability of the spit.

If the new "artwork" includes a more generous forward view, this will not bode well for the real game.

Shouldn't this be in General Discussion or Feeback forums?  ;)  (I think this is a first for the o club)

The Spit is really just going to have more detail to it.  I used all of the same measurments as before because I measured it right the first time.  Pyro and I did this in detail because the 90 degree FOV gives the illusion that the cockpit is wider than it really is.  Besides that, I have given the head position more realistic constraints.  Maybe that is what you were refering to as being generous?

If the view is not going to be "improved". I dont think it will effect gameplay. Thanks for a responce.
