Simply, simply AWESOME HTC! The ability to make the films into AVI's will give hard-ons to most of us. Heck, im having trouble typing in this laptop.

umm.. ok you didnt need to know that.

But anyway, the loss of the buff formations in 1.09 aint that serious.. for the time being *wink*, im sure it will come in the first few patches. Out of curiosity though, would ye be willing to implement the bomb dispersion if the bomber is over 25k in the meantime? It would give the buff pilots a chance to start to get used to the dispersion and how to aim, and if its enabled when above 25k, it wont be that much of a gameplay issue.

Spit facelift.. who cares!. Dangit, green is good. 2 tails and green is better ;) ;) :D

Hurricane: Please, please please would it be possible to have the 12X .303 loadout? I only saw 8 gun slits on that hurri =P.

YE ROCK!

I hope HTC is considering the possible influx of players from WB in March (price increase) during his bandwidth/network upgrades.

I want the bomber feature, and have wanted it for a long time, and I'm sorry it's being delayed.

But I also want the editable videos.

And new Spit models - OUTSTANDING.  The most beautiful aircraft in the history of armed conflict deserves to look as good as possible in the game.

And finally the Hurricane I!!! Yeah Baby!!!

LOL,

Yep but the 'green pilot' will be a Blow Up Doll. The spits will now fly as UAV's (unmanned air vehicles) because no human can pull 9g constantly.

P.S. For the Rooks the Green Blow Up Doll wil be a nice addition to the Blow Up Sheep.

:D

"I want the bomber feature, and have wanted it for a long time, and I'm sorry it's being delayed."

I was on the fence due to the lack of info from HiTech or Pyro as to how they were to work. Too many unaswered questions were asked that pertained to the possible (make that INEVITABLE) abuse and gaming-the-game with them by players.

On one hand, more targets and with a reported bomb dispersion feature. No word on making fluffing  more complicated or requiring much more skill.

On the other hand there was speculation for abuse. I'll use two fictitious players in my examples.

Virtual fluffer  Sunpaul plans a dogfight-ending raid with wingman LeChaser.  These two haters of fighter pilots having fun take off, set thier course for wherever the dogfighting is occuring, settle the flight at 65% throttle and then they bail. But thier six zombies continue on the mission. In the meantime the two Fluffenstiens  emmediately relaunch with two more groups of zombies and using 100% throttle they catch up to thier other group of "the flying dead" and all together they now have 14 bombers with which to destroy the FH's in at least five different bases.
Course this is all moot if the zombies die with the Fluffenstiens . In which case people will target the same bomber out of the group each time to get rid of them all.

And another issue.  Who controls the guns on the zombies? OTTO or the Fluffenstiens  pilot? Either way it could be ackstarring beyond anyones worst nightmare.

Several other "bad" scenarios of potential abuse with the new bomber groups were mentioned. I recall these two the most off the top of my head.

Is that really how it would work? When I heard about it I thought the "zombies" as you choose to call them would share the same fate as the human pilot. i e if the pilot controlled bomber is shot down, discoed, crashed, whatever the "zombies" will share the same fate. I thought the computer controlled buffs would only be "perfect wingmen" to the human pilot.

Have I missunderstood this? Will the human pilot be able to jump between the buffs? <-- would be seriously weird

Hortlund that was just it. We don't know how they will work at all.  When the news frist came out in Sabre's interview a while ago a lot of speculation on what it would do to AH and what the potential problems could be under various conditions.

Wotan, those are two fictitious characters of course :)
