as i joined the aces high community i was sure the movement must go on in to the direction of bringing the ufos ´haunebu II and haunebu III´in the game, but in the case of the global undermodeled german fighters i am sure now , we will never see the historical ufo weapon of the germans in the game , we become some japanese bombers etc. but i feel sad and a tear roll down , i promise you : when there is no haunebu III in AH 2.0 i will report this to the local german press called ´bild zeitung´.

the most advanced fighter in ww2 and beyond was the haunebu III , look at the pictures

That was actually the design for the lights that were to hang over the dining tables in the enlisted mess at the "Eagles Nest" garrison.

But given the imagination of those at "Luft'46" and a little inspiration from the kooks that worship 'Area 51' it somehow has been massaged with a large dose of artistic license (like much that is foiund at Luft'46) and made to appear to be an uber-weapon under development in 1943.

Btw, the last 2 planes have noting to do with that weird supernatural "will never ever work" wanna be flying ugly thing thing. The One to the left is a Go229 jet fighter, performance was great but only one prototpye flew.

Hey, I've seen that model or very simlar one in WB 2.xx already !!! I even flew it in some virtual dogfights.

As I remember it was quite fast, but due that the pilot black/redouted easily. It was important to handle the stick with very gentle touch.

Guns were quite effective , bringing down the B17 needed only a slight squeeze of the trigger and the target disappeared in the explosion.

Well, time was running too fast for ships like that already then, and it could be seen everywhere in the ship. The whole interior design was a little bit old-fashioned, and as you can see from pictures SOLAS showed, the exterior design also needed some updating.

Anyway, it was quite an interesting asquaintance for test purposes only. As my opinion, there's no need to model it in AH, at least not before the early-war planeset.
