I don't get it, the fever that is.

 AH does just what it does for me, simple if not a very good explaination. Huge multiplayer online fun with good FM'sof WWII aircraft. Like Il-2 does (finally once I mapped out the views and got the machine running) with the cool graphics and single player greatness, I really just was impressed. Or MOHAA and it's Saving Private Ryan sim of sorts, or any other game. All aren't the end all of sims, they each hit a nitch, and although i could want,want,want, I'm NOT disappointed in the mean time.

AH is what it is, and updates just mean more cool toejam.

Which leads me to this-

Whats the best updated AH feature?

Mine is the inclusion of the Dora. I just LOVE that plane. The new strat I don't even understand, but big updates never did impressed me.

Other than the Dora, the new MAP with zoom is the most underated gameplay enhancer. It is unique, and damn it works sweet. Argue about radar, but for me, it just makes the game way better.

Now fix my radiator, and gimme guages from the LW factory.

One word: Carriers.

By far, the most impressive update. Carriers at a lot of realism and dynamics to the simulator. Especially when used to attack an enemy base. Pretty cool to start shelling a base before you attempt a beach landing in LVT's.

Mosquito FB.Mk VI Series 2

That was the best addition for me.  The Mossie can do everything, its not the best at anything, but it can any combat job in AH right now.

Best feature?

One that every one forgets after the first month...

The ability to make changes (stick settings, mappings, GUI changes etc, etc,) whilst in flight.

You may only use it in the first month or so; but compared to the horror of setting up a stick in any other game.........

One of the best things AH has IMO. When playing another games there's often issues which make me think "Why didn't they do this like in AH???".

A5 and Dora best additions.

F8 would be in the top if it got some of them 250kg eggs and rockets too :D



In the MA, I actually flew a P47. Me and hazed. Just to kamikaze dweeb cv's. Takes one p47 to do what you'd need 3 190f8s to do. CV and cruiser dead.

3000lb vs 190F8's 1400. And climbs at the same rate too. Nice plane, that one.
