When you aproach an enemy field and get into ack range you are well aware of the danger and you are risking your plane on purpose, with the hvy ack things are very different.

The tracer ratio for the guns on the fighters and buffs is 1 in 5. For every round you can see (tracer) there are 4 more that you
can not see. What makes you think the ack is any different?
Wotan you're just being assinine saying the current acks help game play because they prevent vulching through live acks. They don't prevent squat and you know it. Now while this is a game, the current acks are past gamey and go deep into the territory of the cheesiest lameness imaginable. Set up a mission, people ask what it's for, it's a JABO run to take down a field for capture. No thanks, I'm not gonna suicide on the those acks, call me when a buff takes them down. How does that help gameplay?
