Northwest guys... you notice all these "minicons"?

About time for one of our own.  Rip... SOB... Capt. Apathy... its time we stop getting shown up by those with much better weather and less green pastures.

What do you say?  Get our own together?  Seattle or Portland?  Its a roadtrip for someone... but hell... SOB has a Tahoe and Rip has an Explorer.   We should be able to work something out.

We do have the Boeing museum and the 262 project here in Seattle.

Could be fun.

We also have the Evergreen Air Museum (Spruce Goose) and the Tillamook Air Museum down here.  They are also good possibilities.

I'd love to head to Portland for the Evergreen and Spruce goose, haven't seen either of those yet.

The only time I have "booked" this spring is the last two weeks in May.

Other than that, I'm open!

I think Weave may be interested too?

Emailing him now.

Name a date, place to meet.  Would one day cover the events of both museums plus lunch? Lets do it!

I'm in...got family coming into town on March 16-23, but other than that I'm good.  Can fit 5 guys in the Tahoe, tho' suprisingly it's a little cramped in the back.

Milstinko?  Paint?  Brady?

Bellingham here. I'd trust my car as far as Seattle, but that's about it ('83 Honda wagon)...

I'm up for it in either location. Portland is a mere 4hr drive, maybe us around Seattle can get together and car pool? :D

Thanks for the e-mail Rip!

Portland is closer for me, but I got family in Puyallup, So Seattle is fine too.

As long as SOB don't bring his "trouser trout" and DJV doesn't try to put his hand on my knee, then I'm there.

I got April 24th slated as my vacation if that helps with a date.

Looks like Weave, Ripsnort and Geman(my son) are car pooling, I have room for one more, but I suspect Weave might bring a friend?
