This is not the plane it was, before we all grow rich killing/Vulching it I sugest we raise it's value a bit at least on a par with the the Tony whos ENY value is kinda low as well.

Shouldn't of over used it.

It's like a cheap hooker- starts out cheap and as everyone uses her, she just gets cheaper.

Here are all of the non-perk fighters ranked first by kills in Tour 21 and then by their ENY values.  I have highlighted the top ten in each category.

I recognize that some aircraft cannot have an ENY value that reflects the actual use of the aircraft, for example, the P-51B looks like it should have an ENY of 45 by is usage, but its performance would mean that this setting would be giving nearly free perk points to those who fly it.

The P-47D-11 and Ki-61 on the other hand seem to have ENY values that are much too low when compared with their usage and performance.

I think it is clear that HTC needs to adjust the ENY values of some aircraft.

The Spitfire Mk IX has 19833 kills and has been killed 17813 times.

The P-51D has 14036 kills and has been killed 13370 times.

The N1K2 has 12717 kills and has been killed 12116 times.

The La-7 has 11694 kills and has been killed 10310 times.

The SpitV has 8196 kills and has been killed 8945 times.

The Bf 109G-10 has 7739 kills and has been killed 6043 times.

The F6F-5 has 7224 kills and has been killed 7309 times.

The Typhoon IB has 6784 kills and has been killed 5007 times.

The Mosquito Mk VI has 6475 kills and has been killed 9012 times.

The A6M5b has 6121 kills and has been killed 6840 times.

The Hurricane IIC has 5655 kills and has been killed 4669 times.
The Fw 190D-9 has 5648 kills and has been killed 3652 times.
The F4U-1D has 5268 kills and has been killed 6731 times.
The P-38L has 3905 kills and has been killed 5365 times.
The Yak-9U has 3604 kills and has been killed 2743 times.
The Fw 190A-5 has 3508 kills and has been killed 2111 times.
The C.205 has 3407 kills and has been killed 3005 times.
The SeaFire has 2376 kills and has been killed 3161 times.
The Bf 109F-4 has 2361 kills and has been killed 2266 times.
The F4U-1 has 2346 kills and has been killed 2296 times.
The Fw 190A-8 has 2311 kills and has been killed 1963 times.
The Bf 109G-6 has 2266 kills and has been killed 2005 times.
The P-47-D30 has 2235 kills and has been killed 3100 times.
The Ki-61 has 1530 kills and has been killed 1364 times.
The La-5FN has 1427 kills and has been killed 1247 times.
The Bf 109G-2 has 1396 kills and has been killed 1293 times.

The objective of the perk point system, as I understand it, was to control popularity and was to be solely based on usage, not performance.  Up the points of the P51B and more would use it but then the points would fall until a balance is reached.  As it is now, there is not much point flying the B.

Are you sure you understand it?

Right now it looks like a subjective blend of k/d performance and usage.

Blue Mako,

I agree, and in my opinion the P-51B should have a higher ENY value, say 30 or maybe even 32 or 33.  I certainly don't think that an aircraft with the performance of the P-51B should have an ENY of 45.

ENY ratings must be a subjective combination of performance and usage. Nothing else is fair.  They need to reflect both how common the aircraft is in the AH MA and how easily that aircraft can be successful against the other aircraft in the AH MA. Only when both are considered are the perk vales able to be set fairly.

How different, how much less difficult, is it to kill a P-51B than a P-51D while flying a C.202 or A6M5b?  Not very, and the effort and skill in having done so needs to be reflected in the perk reward.

I didn't mean k/d performance but rather aircraft performance (speed/maneuverability/weapons etc).

The P51B is definitely the cooler looking of the two.  But the difference isn't in how easily it is to kill it, but in the number of users flying it which is probably reflected by how easy it is to kill others in.  I get more "assists" in the thing due to only four 50's and my poor gunnery.  Six 50's seem to make a big difference to my flying skill and I concentrate on the F4U-1D, F6F-5 and 51B so I do notice it.
