I miss Duma :)
« on: February 14, 2002, 03:13:52 PM »
I know it's been ages since he's been around but i used to love the comic strip he used to do most weeks,i've even forgotten what it was called but i wondered if anyone had any of them archived and could either post em here or send em to my mailbox? :)
steely07@phreaker.net

For those who haven't seen em they are brilliant, they used to reflect the situation in the MA week by week and always made me laugh.

Hoping to hear from someone about this soon....i have tried a search but can't find anything.....thanks for your help all :)

Talked to him while playing MOHAA one evening. He mentioned he will be back one day - he's just too busy at the moment.

Thanks Camo. I could not find my CD last night and I think my neighbor still has it from when he wanted to install AH.  Good thing I got the "OHh_phishawL" CD a couple of weeks ago from HTC to keep that from happening anymore :)

I'm still keeping an eye on AH every now and again, been a while since I've flown even H2H but I like the direction it's moving, the film editor sounds great (I used to film every single combat). Pity that VMF-115 have all but faded away.

I'll probably check out H2H again when 1.09 comes out, not sure when I'll return to the MA but I will be back there sometime, probably when I stop wasting money on airsoft :) Schoolwork isn't so much of a problem now, actually I spent the last few days at open days / interviews at a few universities... Nottingham or Warwick look to be favourite (electronic engineering course). The grades I've been offered shouldn't be too hard to reach so I'm in a much better situation there than I was a year ago, less pressure :)

I'm not playing MOH any more, only had the demo to start off with and first person-shooters are always a bit too addictive and a bit too unsatisfying for me. Orbiter's fun in a strange way, thanks to whoever posted the link to that here a few days / weeks ago.

And thanks for finding the images Camo, thought they'd gone.. I'd lost all the backups but was lucky enough to grab them off web.archive.org last year, also wrote an explanation of them a while back here, since few of them make any sense any more :) They were made in Adobe Illustrator, by the way (a fairly simple vector drawing package)

Anyway, I look forward to losing a few more JU88s in fleet attacks, whining about the Tiffy's performance as every late war plane chases it down, or just dweebing around in my F26. :)

Good to hear from ya Duma!  115 is still around, they're a member in MAG-33 now, which is 6 squads strong, 110 players.  We still manage to get about 30 guys up once a month for a MAG-33 get together.

Always good to hear from you!  You got a home if you ever come back in the MA.
