Goto http://saitekhelp.simhq.com

Download the Dhauzimmer's Drivers
Follow the SGE uninstall/Saitek Driver Uninstall instructions
Install the Dhauzimmer's X36/X45 Driver
Download the HazardScript Programming utility
Install HazardScript
Follow the basic scripting instructions to setup your stick.

After doing this with my X45, AH performs 15-20% better, I have more functionality and I am much happier!!!

My frame rate increased from 50fps to a solid 70fps!!!

Never even thought about my joystick driver impacting my game performance!!!!

Very nice!!!

My system config:

Windows ME
ASUS CUV4X MB
1Ghz Intel
384MB Memory
GEFORCE 256
Saitek X45

The rotors are handled as Anolog AXIS with these drivers.  Programming them has not been included as of the latest version...
