Aircraft Inclusion Factors
« on: February 18, 2002, 08:32:46 PM »
I'm sure that this has been hit on before. I know for a fact that I've seen many of the arguments put forward in many different threads, but I just wanted to go over this in a single thread to get a better feel for the topic.

What I want to know is:
What is the most important criteria for aircraft inclusion?
Numbers Produced?
Main Arena Utility?
Equal Representation (or more equal anyhow) of Nationalities?
Scenario Utility?
I just want it damnit and piss on those who don't?
Combat reputation?
Public demand?

I honestly don't know how I would go about ranking these. I suppose that you would try to find an aircraft that best meets all of the above. I mean, if there were an Italian UBERBUFF produced in large numbers, participated in both Theaters, was famous for kicking bellybutton in those theaters, and everyone was clamoring for it, We'll, We'd have a winner. But since there is no critter I wonder what would fit the bill? Anyhow, back to the question; if it were up to you, how would you deceide which planes make the cut and which planes have to wait.

HTC decides they want to do it?

I'm drawing up a list of production numbers for AH aircraft.  I'll post them once I've got all I can.

Karnak,
While you're at it, can you figure out how many of each were produced with the performance and powerplants as modeled in AH?
I've always wanted to see how many of the G10's had the powerplant like in AH, since all I ever find on that bird is a top speed of 426-28 mph.

Thanks!

Well, Indeed. So in answer to my question, you would defer to HTC?
