The angle to the deck he is at was normal...they came in for approaches turning for better visibility.  Right before wheels touch, that plane would be straight on.

Hmmmm... F6's.......ugly? Not any more ugly than a few certain other birds (coughspitfirecoughtyphooncoug hnikicough)... big? Yup, but deceivingly agile... Tough? You bet....  Adaptable to multi-role (good guns and loadout)? Yes again...  from a certain point of view, they look pretty good to me! :D  Of course, I'm a "squid" in the game, so I guess I BETTER like it, lol!
