The Magnificent Seven Recruitment Opportunities
« on: February 20, 2002, 05:29:37 PM »
This announcment is to inform pilots that The Magnificent Seven is officially looking for recruits.
There are only two squadron rules:
#1 Respect ALL pilots.(even if you don't like them)
#2 Have Fun.
That's all there is to it.
Mag 7 traces it roots back to Christmas Eve 1997. Origional founding members were Ductape and Coach (now DmndCoach of The Damned).  Air Warriors for Macintosh is the Arena were The Mag7 was formed. When that arena was shut down, the squad slowly moved to PC AW. So slowly in fact, that unfortunately some members where lost to other squads do to some member's not being able to wait for the squad to move.  Then they closed down PC AW and the squad moved here to Aces High.
Ductape (=CO=) and AWRass (=XO=) are the only two members from the origional Mac AW days. All the rest of the current members have signed on since moving into AH.
We are still forming up an official meeting day, but when that date is established weekly meetings will be held to discuss squad concerns and address the needs of the membership.
Training will be provided to those that need it, and membership will not be denied because someone is new. We only ask that you are going to continue to play, and don't plan to just use the 2 weeks free trial and then split.
Ductape or AWRass can both invite you in, so if you are interested give us a shout when you see us in the arena or send email to Ductape@PlanetDuctape.com
Thank you and we hope to see you soon.

Thanks for the words of support KOOL! The Magnificent Seven have always worked with the 327th Steel Talons to help accomplish common goals. Mag7 also  works with The Blackout Boys whenever possible. Mag7 will always work with any same country squadron to further benefit the country we belong to. Working together towards common goals helps make any game playing situation more fun. This falls in line with Rule #2 required for membership in the Mag 7..."Have Fun!".
Another common goal, but a little more along the personal line is getting people to get my Handle correct. That being Ductape instead of Ducktape.........without the K..heehee.
Salute to the 327th Steel Talons
Salute to the Blackout Boys

I highly recommend taking a very close look at this squad.  These are great pilots and friends as well.  Very seldom do you find good guys, talent, helpfulness and passion for a game as you will find here.

Best of luck to the Mag7!

Good Ol Ductape,

Been fighting  With him for years. if ya are looking for  a good squadron then the mag7 would be the place to be.

when i came to AH  i ran into Ductape and  it felt like old times  to see him  on the  other side of the pond doing his thing.  that is when i knew i had a home :)

As for Rass he is a great Dood too i used to train him back in the olden days.
Now look at him he is all grown up and  Keeling everything that moves

like i mentioned before these are great folks  and if you are looking for a squadron with substance as well as  plenty of good times then  i would have to say that Working For the Mag7 would be the place to be if ya  was planning on flying Bish.

Good Luck  DT and Rass I am  sure you will find some great pilots to fill your ranks.

Thanks for the great sales pitch Rabbit. I would like to think the Mag7 was a good place to fly. So far the peeps that have signed on have had fun and continue to work on their flight skills daily.
One small correction I would like to add though. The Magnificent Seven is a Rook Squad at this time. ROOKS!
I understand that some squadrons rotate countries with the Tour Of Duty changes, but I have not asked the squad about this yet. Sheeeesh....we are still trying to determine a day for Squad Nite!
Thanks anyway for the great post bud! Rabbit. If you see a Rook P47 bearing down on your 6, hit the silk bro!
