Hi Mates

Was just wondering how hard it would be to activate the 5 Inch .38's on the destroyers.  They could be used for high angle anti aircraft and for shelling shore facilities and other fleets.  There are 5 inch already modeled on the cruiser, but twin mounts.

With these activated, the destroyers could continue to operate as a squadron after the cruiser and carrier had been sunk.

As one who flies, but also like manning the guns, thought this might add more dimension to the fleet part of the program with the least amount of work.

Any comments please.

Would like to see this too. Sometimes I just like to set in the turrets and defend the fleet with the AA or pound away at the shore. Would make it alot more interesting if the DD's stayed around till they were sunk too.
