Yey, I'm GLAD Canada won otherwise we'd be subjected to "Canadian Whine", as as we've all seen Canadian Whine is extremely bitter.
Go ahead, yuk it up, Canada. Drink lots of Molson, eat lots of Sardines. I'm not bitter, but I hope you choke on an icecube. Then I hope the USA targets Canada  as a terrorist threat and we invade you.

WTG Canada, great game.
"Willy's gone and made another,
Something like it's elder brother-
Wing tips rounded, spinner's bigger.
Unbraced tailplane ends it's figure.
One-O-nine F is it's name-
F is for futile, not for fame."

CANADA!!!

awesome game, listened to it over the radio at work, then hauled bellybutton to my local pub

got there just after the game ended

now we Canadians are not usually overly patriotic, but standing at attention in a bar filled with about 150 people in it, singing O Canada as our flag was raised will be an experience i will never forget

again and to the American team.

Man what a fantasic game!!  The victory wouldn't mean as much if we weren't playing against such a great team.  Downtown Ottawa is closed off right now.  There are people in the streets, cars are honkying thier horns.  Gold in mens and womens ice hockey.  Canada, the FIRST nation of hockey.:D :D :D :D :D

To bad Richter sold his soul for a couple of saves.;)

The only mistake the american team made was getting on the board first.  I'm not sure if the non-canadians understand what this means to our country.  It's probably inexplicable...so I won't try....okay I will...its HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And that doesn't even come close.:)

I for one didn't realize how much this meant to Canadians...
My downstairs neighbor is from Canada and to him it was just awesome.  It's like Football is to the US

Team Canada showed what they're capable of today and also demonstrated the best way to play North American  hockey... out work your opponent.   What a sweet win!

WTG Candada!

High five to Mike Richter who played his heart out but just didn't have the help he needed from the D.

Canada totally deserved this win!

Russia's medal ceremony was yesterday, and they were present for it.

Have another beer. :P
