Kill Shooter

The reson youre getting so many killshootings is undoubtedly because you fly into those mass furballs and chase a con with a dozen others all trying to get the same kill.
Now when AH had less people in it it was a lot more personal and people remembered your name if you kept interfering in kills (ie like you said flying between bullet streams of someone elses kill)
and soon enough your name would be mud which meant no one helped you out.Now theres just so many theres relative anonimity through the sheer amount of flyers so the game seems to have degenerated into a mass scrap with people ignoring the fact that some other player has worked that enemy into a good firing position.
The amount of times ive chased cons from 20k to the deck only for some bunch of dweebs to swoop in as im about to kill them  has changed my way of flying in MA. Now i look for groups of enemy fighters with 1 or 2 friendlies around so i can finish a fight alone.

perhaps the answer is to film and post pics on a weekly 'MORON OF THE WEEK' post? :D

my suggestion is fight further from the masses of idiots who try to steal kills.

I havent gotten a killshooter in a long time... just be careful in a close in knife fight with multiple friendlies.  Part of SA I would say.

Surely it would be possible for AH software to detect if a plane has actually flown in between u and the bogie in which case the guy who decides to fly in between you and the contact actually takes the damage and has to like it.  Should be easy enough to differentiate this from the guy who zooms in while your saddled up on a contact, in which case normal killshooter applies.  Would take a bit of work to get the algorithm right but it would be worth it.  That's make em think twich before stealin your kill.

BTW kill stealing (shootin critically damaged planes) seems to be on the up again.  I'll tell ya the next guy who steals 1 more of my kills better be a two week trialer otherwise he gonna have his name in 72 point font on this BBS with the words "Steals Kills!" underneath.  4 kills blatantly stolen on me last night.  I let it go. Figuring if he needs kills that bad then good luck to him.  Charity is now over.  My patience is now as shot as 262 in a  tight furball.

Seems also guys in GV's seem to think that cause their in a GV then its ok to spray at a tumbling wreck.  Well its not so stop it right now!!

Killshooter is the best solution to the problem, and 35 in a month is unusual....in fact, phenomenal.

We have had killshooter in Warbirds too, only guys it was a problem for were the guys that liked to chase 1 enemy with 5 other friendly planes spraying and praying that their bullets hit before the other guy's.

By and large death to kill shooter is a victimless crime.

"I have been killed 35 times this month...."

Good cod you must have one hellova happy trigger finger.  The numbers of times I've been shot down to killshooter, in over two years, I can count on one hand.  I propose that the problem is not "killshooter" but instead the shooter.

How the hell someone can die 35 times to killshooter is beyond me.  I guess someone needs to learn a bit of self control when it comes to the trigger finger.  At the rate that I die to killshooter incidents, I would need to fly about 200+ hours of AH to even approach that number.  Maybe someone needs to go get some sun?

I have one killshooter in two tours, having sawed the wing off a Mossy who tried to steal my kill, thereby flying straight through the tracer stream.... Yeah, he was a handsomehunk, and every time I saw him for the balance of the evening, I would "check 6" his butt... Unless he really has a con behind him, then it's MMOB time.:D

Payback has no statute of limitations.:p

And yeah, I know I'm a 1st class salamander...;)

Don't spray your load everywhere and you'll be ok. I've been killshootered 3 times in 2 1/2 years.

Killshooter is fine.
