well i guess i must post can't resist.

i am a commercial single and multi engine land instrument airplane and also hold a CFI and double I and a measly 415 hours logged (just started the instructing thing) i am really hung on this flying this and hope to fly for a really reputable cargo company.second choice would have to be flying corporate, dunno why i have no interest in flying for the airlines just nothing there for me in my mind.

Private, instrument, approx. 500 hours.
Currently own a Skybolt built by the Camarillo Wing of the Confederate Air Force (had the honor of taking it up for its first test flight).

Fortunately in RL there's no shooting going on or my flight hours would be substantially less.

I have 6 hours logged with a CFI in 172's, also 1.1 hours in King Air twin, not sure which model but the twin isn't logged. I got 1.1 hours in the AV8B simulator down at MCAS. and I got about 300 total hours flying time in various singles, one was a '39 cub, and some others.

In Jan if I get a big enough bonus with work, I will finish private and work on IFR. deffinetly in summer of 2003 I will proceed to obtail IFR (if not already have), commercial, ATP, multi, and turbin, and hopefully get into a position with airlines.

Thought about Embry here in Prescott, but they want like $30000 a year, and I only make little over $40000 a year so I guess thats out of question :-(

Single-engine land and sea, instrument, glider.  I've been tossing around the idea of getting a commercial ticket and trying to get someone to pay me to fly, but I don't think there are that many stupid people who own airplanes out there.  Maybe I'll become a gigolo instead.

Finishing up my private ticket. Soloed at 17 hours and now I have over 52 total time a couple of more lessons and I finish up to go to the FAA check(scary thought).

Gonna get my type rating on HP and complex as soon as I get my ticket, then work on Instrument,Commercial & CFI rating in States.

I fly gerbils around my living area, am hoping to move up to larger rodents, say hampsters and Guinea pigs.

I had enrolled and began preparations for 4 year commercial pilots rating in Australia but I chickened out, scared of heights + $32000 in costs.

Fidd! Bless your heart, it's good to see ya. I've been wondering if you fully recovered or not. Is there much chance of a SAC for AH? Has anyone approached HT yet?

 Take care, man. < S >

Oh ... damned near forgot what the thread was about ... then again, I'm not yet flying AH (repeat, not yet ;0)...still:

 My puny flying experience:

Soloed in a 152 in 1980 (age 18) joined the Nav before I could finish up and take the exam (figured I'd finish at my final duty station but never got around to it). Got to fly around (ride) in P-3s some. Never did finish getting my license. I'd have a tough time passing a flight physical right now. Flying sims made me even lazier than I was before.   :(

I am about halfway through flight school at Pensacola NAS to be an Air Force strike navigator (WSO).  I will be flying back seat on either a B-1b or F-15E (hopefully the strike eagle).  I have about 15 hours stick time in the T-34C all logged plus small amounts of time in a Cessna 182, Cessna 177 Cardinal, Piper Warrior, and Piper Archer.  I have also flown the Air Force full motion simulators for the B-1, B-52, C-130, and C-141. After I have been a WSO for awhile hopefully I can go on and move up to the front seat.  I have known plenty to do it before but even if I dont I have to say, back seat in an F-15 is better than any seat anywhere else!
