Current video driver is 23.85

Any time I Alt-tab out then return to AH, the video is porked, rainbow colors and translucent figures.
Now I have tried as many different drivers (certified or not) as I could find. No joy!
I have tried all the various adjustments in the direct 3d settings appelet as I could. Still no improvement.
I dont mind if there is a known issue, just come clean and tell me if there is. I am still playing this game as an evaluation and this issue may effect my decision on weather I pay to play or not...
You may ask why do I need to Alt-tab out?? So I can tend to RW as needed on occasion.
The only way I can correct this problem is to restart AH. No fun. This has been very frustrating when it happens in flight...
Will this happen in Win 98??

Thank you

Install and run this set all frequencies to 85hz or closest, reboot and your prob should be fixed.

Delete video7.cfg in ah and start again.... when video comes up check "don't swap paletes" or something likke that "disable palete swaping" I think. That should fix it.......

Thank you mrsid2!

I have to tell you I was skeptical, as my view sonic driver "supposedly" enabled refresh rates as high as 120 mhz... Of which I had tried from 60-120 mhz.

Any way I tried your program and it seems to work. I noticed a much smoother transition from desktop to applications and vise versa!! Across the board...

Ill let ya know how it goes. A big thanks to you.
