Oh man! Im missing Carrier Command soooo much... Played it on ZX Spectrum 128 and then on AMIGA.... That game was pretty cool...

By "not where you left it" I meant that after a fight, you turn for home to find out, by looking at the map, that someone has sailed it in the opposite direction than what you had intended, and it could be out of range for the fuel load you took up, or too far out to land a damaged bird running on limited time. We used to set a course and release it, now we keep it, and yes, some of our guys have a high enough rank to keep it. :p
