HVAR A2A Bug?
« on: March 01, 2002, 02:26:11 PM »
I was in a Hog D, chasing an La7 that went deck. I was his high 6 at ground level and as I opened up my secondary weapon on him I forgot to switch from rockets to guns. However, my one rocket killed him instantly (to my pleasant suprise!) I was coming in ad about a 45 degree angle, we were both over 300 knots, and I was about 350 out, at the most.

My Question is: was he too close to the ground for me to register a kill from the rocket hitting the ground near him (fortunate mishap?)

or is there a bug in the modeling for A2G rockets?

Is that enough info?

You either hit him with the rocket, or he got caught in the blast radius of the rocket.

And are you the Red Tail of AW genie days?
