Training Arena was a Mess!

but now, it's not!

and congratulations should go to Aurelius for taming the Training Arena beast. People were logging on, getting help and graduating on to the Main. Not much cussin, vulchin or other anti-social activities going on--thought I was in the wrong arena for a minute. WTG Aurelius!

A big to VAQ as well. He displays truly amazing patience when helping the new guys.

I have two suggestions for that arena:

1) make some variety of Spit the default plane. Not P-51. Too hard to takeoff w/o auto or to T&B for some.

2) Eliminate kills. That is, the crashing and burning part. Allow the buffer to say "you killed soandso" and continue w/ the instruction/flight undamaged.

Don't know if either one could be done, but it could help.

I think this would be a great thing.  Like you said, I don't know if it possible, but it would definitely aid in making training and learning faster and easier (which, as anyone who teacehs/instructs knows, this is a big plus!)

refresh my memory here, but can you put in "Airshow Smoke" that was one of the nice things about WB ( that i liked anyway) was playing follow the leader with trails on, and practicing diff maneuvers.
