I'm all for more of the Pacific war set. P-40, beaufighter, boomerang , catalina, betty's, buffalo etc etc.

All the cool Japanese stuff is late war.  The Ki.84, the Ki.100, the J2M3, the B6N, the DY4 - there's a lot of high performance right there.

The Early War Japanese aircraft don't seem to do as well in sims as they did in RL, and the late war stuff seems to do better than RL.

I'd like to see all the above plus the H8K Emily flying boat.

Oh yeah, plus the Curtiss SB2C Helldiver!  

And, since there's been so much time to work on them, I'd like to see a Spit Mk XIV and a Stuka and an Me163 and a He.177.  And a P-38F for the Sicily event.

And a B-24 for Citabria/Fester.

Early war Japanese aircraft were flown by seasoned veterans. Later war Japanese pilots were lucky if they had landed solo before.

Air combat success can be dominated by huge technology gaps and numbers, but pilot quality still has a lot to do with the final results if the numbers and technology gaps are not big enough.

Once the WW2 planeset is filled in to everyones satisfaction, why not have a korean war arena. I realize this may be in the distant future, but its still something to think about.
 I would like to see some german transport vehicles in the game, and another Krautbuff would be cool too.

Advise-

When the update-tard fever gits ya, play Ghost Recon, IL-2, Operation Flashpoint, Stronghold, and IL-2. Revert to Ghost recon when in a “1.09 update freaky Jonsin’ state”, or Il-2. If that fails, load IL-2, COOP. If that fails, git some popsicle, or reload IL-2.

This “1.09 Film Maker Mania Update ” is insane. New spit cockpits isn’t going to reshape the Palestinian conflict. Trust me.

After the Polikarpov I-16 and Mig-3...

...the Petlyakov Pe-2 twin-engine ground attack aircraft deserves to appear by its high numbers in combat.  It was fast, but lightly armored, with an inadequate rear machine gun, I believe.

By the way, does anyone know which syllable "Petlyakov" is accented on?  PET-lya-kof?  pet-LYA-kof?  pet-lya-KOF?  Thanks.
