Anyway, can't help but say 'wow' the amount of effort put into editing that advertisement. The scenes are admittably the best of its kind. Of course, what is inside the game is a completely different story

However, the graphics are really entertaining. The flashes of hits on enemy planes are very good, considering our AH hit sprites are also very old. The way parts are blown off is also good(I actually note the two~three gradual levels of damage on wingtips alone
)
I think the difference comes with the light factor and glare effects. AH supports only one source of light in the physical environment, and that is the sun. All the other light sources are non existent and represented only by bitmap level colors.
Anyway, FA3 is a neat eye candy.
ps) couldn't help but laugh when the narrarator was saying 'realistic flight environment'. The scene was a cockpit view looking downwards into the rudder, which is clearly padlock tracking an enemy under the plane.
