Damn, I knew I hated French people for a reason, and this must be it!  I thought the US was always supposed to get the good stuff first.  This is a travesty!  :D

Here it is officially then - the information you've been so patiently (well most of you) waiting for ;)
The release date for the Cougar is the week of the 21st March, 2002, with the first Cougars arriving in Europe. Australia should receive their Cougars by the end of March and North America in April sometime.

The Cougar will appear in different countries on different dates after the 21st March, due to timing differences in distribution, and for no other reason. It is not possible to say exactly on what date they will appear in specific countries.

A limited quantity for Worldwide distribution are being produced in batch 1 and we are advising those who are sure they want a Cougar to pre-order. The number of Cougars in the first batch is commercially sensitive and we can't release that information, so please don't ask. ;)

The Cougars in the first batch will be numbered for those of you who are collectors ;)

Countries where the Cougar will be available include (this list is not comprehensive): North America, France, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Scandinavian countries, Australia, Japan ... really most countries where Guillemot operates a distribution network.

By God, when TM was owned by Amurricans, they were shipped to Ammuricans first, the limies had to wait, the crappiest product was shipped to France, and Australians had to put out a second mortgage on their home just to afford one!  :p

It ain't a freaky spacey looking joystick and a hooptey wannabe TQS, so already it's better than the X45!  :p

I remember who the backbone of all that is flightsticks is.

Kinda wish the frogs hadn't bought them though;)

Though... if it saved us from having to see more crap like that gaming stick (triangle shaped handle) that TM was developing... we are better off.

FCS... the stick that started it all.

FCS, heh heh.  That's what I was using until just a couple weeks back when I got mad at my coolie hat (6-views were so hard to get for the past year) and applied extra pressure and broke the thing off.  I had the FCS Pro, and I'm gonna miss her.  Nice to know I was using ancient technology though.

So how about this CH F-16 stick w/ the throttle wheel?  I can't wait for a Cougar.
