I'd like to dedicate this poem I wrote to the unforgettable Mike (7Sins) Walsh. It's called Wingman.

Wingman

Climbing the skies in our thoroughbred steed
I am not afraid as my friend is near

our horses are strong galloping fast
foes see us and start to fear

they scatter beneath us like a flock of doves
as we dive down from perch on high

sending them to the waters below
we pull back our steeds in the sky

laughing through the infinite space
as fights lost and won are told

flying high though the clouds
the sunset kisses our wingtips gold
