how are those cd's? I've been eyeballing them, but not knowing whats on them completly, and not knowing if theres enough "source" material to actually make a loop that doesn't have pitch shift or noticiable noise is kinda a risk to take.
Most of the engine files that I've collected for a sound pack have been from internet sources, and I've just been editing and equing, cleaning up ect.... listening to sources that are like flybywires first listed site, and trying to curve it in close to what the exterior fly-bys sound like.
The one tough thing that I'm trying to do is find a blend between the interior and exterior sounds that you hear in game. Un fortunelatly, there are not seperate sound sources for these.
Least the gvs sounds that I put together have been "approved" by a person on here who was in the military and was in an AFV.
Would love to be able to achieve the same quality with the aircraft.
Have Nuendo rig as well as a ProTools rig that I use for work, and I am able to clean up and edit varous loops / sounds. Just finding legitimate , quality sources is the problem.
I would love to hear the sounds, but no go on the sounds airmess. Actually No go on the 109/110 sounds.
right now I'm trying to get enough "sample" out of a 190 fly by that Jb73 sent me. I'm having to put a doppler effect, in reverse, on the original file to hopefully smooth enough of the sound out to be usable without the pitch change.
Tough tweaking...lol
