HANGTIME & THUNDER vs. (? &?)
« on: July 04, 2000, 12:18:00 PM »
Hangtime and Thunder are in the Officers Club. Thunder is working on his fifth Bourbon & Water and Hangtime slaps down another Scotch. Thunder watches Hang kick his cat across the floor because he was gettin too friendly on his leg. Well Hang...I agree with you! It's time for a 2 vs 2 duel with P-51's against 2 matched LW planes. You think if we radio Berlin we will get anyone to meet us over the chanel?

Hangtime looks over at Thunder with a steel look! "MAKE THE CALL"!

I feel offended if I see messages that inlcude the true or fictional fact that cats are kicked.

Az.. as I'm sure u know; my poor old puddy tat has the life of Rielly. It adoped me some 10 or more years ago; and was my childs companion till she got a Rotty. Then, it was my turn to perform a rescue.

The cat has never suffered a moments indignity while in my presence.. and it will remain so. There's a special place in hell for those that abuse animals.. and all joking aside; you may rest assured I shall do my utmost to insure her remaining time is pleasant and safe from harm; in any form. Even tho I am not a 'cat person' and have always considered them less desirable as companions than my dogs; it recieves respect and attention from me as part of the sacred trust that is attached to sharing your home with one.

My virtual cat; Hairball, on the other hand, has an attitude that requires constant adjustment. And; praise be to those that care; gets a stiff virtual kick now and again. As do I.

Thanks fer caring..

My Word...

An 8 v 8 squad duel?? Lordy; that WOULD be fun. Unfortunatly; I cannot vouch or commit my squad.. it's not my place to do so.

However; if I can get 8 sharp pony pilots that are willin to do the deed; I'm sure something could be arranged. I have Camel willin to saddle a pony for this; and it's fer sure Thunder and I would be happy to play.. that's three; so far..

Hristo.. u gonna leave me in this G10 all tour; or has this past week been pennance enuff? I need to work with my team in a pony; just as u need to drill yer team in the a4.

Advise; plz...

Hangtime, our intelligence reports you have made 23 kills in G-10, while being shot down 24 times.

As much as this record shows you need more training in the particular type, I am ready to free you of the wager, but under following condition :

Make a total of 50 kills in G-10 and you can go back to your P 51D.

As for the duel, I will see how much response I get in JG 2. Any other Fw 190A-5 volunteers are free to join, so we can pick the sharpest.

I repeat, 8 vs 8 at least, SEA, no icons fight, 10 k merge, no diving into the merge ( ), anything goes after. Are those conditions acceptable ?

Jagdflieger, let's hear you.

If the demand is great enuff... can we up the numbers a bit? 12v12? 20v20?

And why limit ourselves to a particular plane type? How about Axis planes vs Allied planes? I mean, this duel thing really started with the "Luftwaffte pilots are better" thing. Should hold true for any plane type, eh?

If its no icons, which is a blast!, You should keep it to 2 plane types, whether it is 51's and 190a's.

I'll fly a 51 if there is a spot open.
