Two thumbs up on the me-110
« on: March 14, 2002, 12:14:48 AM »
just downloaded patch 1.09 from the HTC main site (600KPS :D) and I have to say it's awesome.  The Me-110 is the sweetest plane ever.  I mean the G-2 variant is awesome 4 20mms, 2 30mms, a tailgun, 1000kg of bombs, underwing 50kg bombs or wgr. 21 rockets, extra fuel tanks.  God this thing comes fully loaded :D

Nice job HTC team :)

Heheh aye, the 110G2 almost matches the P-47 D 30 in payload :).

And pretty sweet climb rate with all those eggs on.

Took one offline to a vehicle field: dropped 2 500kg on the vh: boom. 2 50's on ack, 2 on a fuel, rest of the stuff with the BFG 30mm and 20's :).

Roll rate is quite poor, hwich the enemy will be quick to exploit methinks. Top speed isn't great, but good enough.

The earlier 110 is cool as well: 4*7.9mm means ping madness :D :D.

Will fly both, that is for sure.

Thanks for the great jabo HTC!

BF is correct.  ME, while not exactly wrong, is incorrect.

So, since this sounded wrong, I went to you web site.  It said this:

"Origin: Bayerische Flegzeugwerke, renamed Messerschmitt AG 1938"

So up through 1938, I can see Bf 109 (and Bf 110, for that matter), but after 1938 seems to me that Bf would be incorrect.

I'm not sure if it had something to do with when the developing of the plane model or type started?

It was when the plane was developed/introduced. You have the Bf109, Bf110, but the Me210/410, Me262.

Flew the ME-110G2 1 run last night! It's gonna create some problems with fighters thinking its gonna be an easy kill.  Turns well, & nice speed.  This plane is going to create interesting possibilities when flown properly!  What a load out.   :D AH really got it right in 1.09 TY
