Planes for real men !
« on: March 14, 2002, 01:46:52 AM »
Finally we got the planes that need real men to fly them :D
After all, who the h*ll want to fly a N1K  When they can fly a Spit I ?;)

You gotta be a real man to take a Hurri 1, Spit 1 or a ME 110 into a fight with N1K or a LA7 or any similar :)
Does the engine on the spit 1 (and the hurri 1?) choke when in negative G`s, because of the carbs overflow ?

Really looks forward until I get home from work and can try them early birds out :):):);)

You smell that? Do you smell that?
Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that.
I love the smell of napalm in the morning.
The smell, you know that gasoline smell, smelled like victory.

like which sims ??
i remember that in AW you lost oil-pressure when flying upside down for too long in the early planes ...
in IL-2 your engine can overheat and you have to open your cowling flaps (?), never seen that in AH.

so many different sims, so many different details ...
you seen the damage detail in IL-2 ?? now there's a 'raised bar' !! :D (not to mention all the other detail and the weather, clouds etc.)

hehe, someone touched a nerve.

What I thought was funny as hell: We get 6 great new planes that most are eager to try out. There's a massive furball full of Spit Is, Hurri Is, Bf109Es, and Bf110s.....and someone comes cruising up in a La7.

I have to admit...it occured to me to take up a spit IX and try and get some easy kills hoping people would think its a spit I.  :D

Turns out...I did take one up, but loaded for a base attack.  I only got kills in the new 109 and the 110 last night.

Was in a fight last night, while flying the Spit I, against a higher Spit I.  I was being helped by a friendly N1K2 and La-7.

I got the kill.:D

base attack

In light of the reaction to the warning introduced in ver 1.09  Any phrase closely related to it will cost you 5 minutes in the penalty box discussing the validity of the hammerhead with artlaws.
