hehe RAM, you'd know ;)

Popeye mentioned that the 'N' word can also be used to mean 'cheapskate', i.e. some1 who wants it all but not prepared to pay aslos some1 mentioned that its not at all like Lava.  I've seen this guy posting before and I agree it's not like him.  Perhaps a hack.  Suggest Lava posts and tells us what the story is?

Why is this mentioned, but the use of 'towelhead', which is rampant in the O'club as of late, not mentioned?

Seems that in light of recent events, selective racism is tolerated, or even embraced.

I find that every bit as disturbing.

Come on, Rip, I give you more credit than to truly think that 'towelhead' is in reference to someone's headgear, and not to their racial background, and that any parallel can be drawn between it and 'redneck', which is not a racially motivated term.  Its usage in the thread linked below has absolutely nothing to do with clothing, and everything to do with the suggestion that a person of Arab descent must be of lesser intelligence or worth, or at best a predisposition to wanton violence.

I ain't buyin' it.

did someone forget their sensitivity pill today? grab them up girls...

he said it for attention, just what you are giving him/her/it, whatever lava is besides an idiot.

got to disagree, raghead as referring to the sand sucking scum who destroyed 10's of 1,000's of lives indirectly and at least 5,000 directly is not the same as calling a black person the "N" word. If I were to call all turban owners ragheads, then I'd agree, it would be in the same vein.

Please rest assured, raghead is about the nicest term I call those turban wearing chicken toejam murdering bastards in polite conversations.

I will admit to being insensitive (no, don't object, it's true) on occassion and sometimes not realizing how deeply people can be wounded by a word.   perhaps some of you more sensitive guys on the board....  could write out a list of words I shouldn't use?   I allready see that cupcake is one so the list shouldn't take too long.   i mean, how many words can their really be that are crippling?

I would allso appreciate it if said sensitive guys would post in rightious indignation every time something was said that did not meet with their approval so that we could be reminded from time to time.  I tend to forget.
thank you
lazs

Negative, it has to do with their cultural background...as it does when they call me a redneck.
