can this plane out turn the spit 9?

It outturns the whole planeset with the exception of the Zero and the Hurricane.
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Follows the Zero pretty good too.
 
 Went into a pure flat turn fight at deck alt for test purposes, and did about 5~6 full 360 circles before the finally zero was out of considerable "target range".

Spit I is condsiderably better turner than 202, even Spit V is. Spit IX is about equal, I'd say. But all the spits with the exception of Spit IX will outturn C.202 with quite a margin.
