Use the start select button when you find a section you want to use, while it's playing use the views as you desire, when you have the clip you want, use the end select button and then the copy button to save the sub clip under a new name.

The use save as an avi to output the film.

Weazal, thanks for the replie.

OK i click on start select then end select, but when i clcik on copy sellect, it brings up a open dialog box, not a save as dialog box

Are you getting somthing diffrent to me, cos when i  clcik copy select, there is no way to save just open, weird.
