Well I would much rather see someone vent in here than in the arena so vent on Apache!

Nothing worse than hearing someone moan and groan for hours about getting killed. At least in here I don't have to read it if I don't want to.

naw, what's really cool is when you're in one of them big ol' furballs, completely outnumbered, most all of your squadmates back in the tower, have 5+ guys on your six and see this in the buffer.

Kill 7 by You (got the one you were shooting at)
Kill 8 by You (someone killshootered while trying to "finish off" your wingless plane)
Kill 1 by pilot X who you've killed twice in this sortie
You have been killed by pilot X who you've killed twice in this sortie
pilot X then boasts on Ch 1 for shooting you down.

That's rich!

(actually, the guy was joking on Ch 1 about beating me, so it was kinda funny.)

I dunno, if I'm having fun, I'll say something "whiney" when I lose. "Just how many does it take to get me? I ain't that good!" or something.

If I get frustrated with the game to the point of about to make an bellybutton of myself on Ch1, I just smack the mic and hit Alt-F4. By the time I put the mic back together and log back in, I'm cooled down enough to talk sensibly on the buffer again.

Sometimes it takes a good minute or two to find all the mic pieces.

Funny you say that.. i just got done watching a movie about a kid trying to change the world(forgot then name) but his friend wants to get all 1 billion chinese kids to jump in the air and tilt the world off its current po.

I agree with ya Mighty.

I don't mind the venting so much as some of the foul language and insulting remarks that are becoming common here and in the game.

Lemme say, I'm no prude, I was in the USNavy for 8 years as a Jet engine mechanic, I've heard and said some pretty nasty/tasteless things, but I always censor myself here and in the game, as I never know how many wives, mothers, and children may be reading my posts.

I think it's time we enforced the most basic of rules for the UBB and ingame.
