I understand why the cockpits are laid out the way they are to some extent, namely the the non-metric / fantacy graphics.

If it’s a gameplay feature, which it IS, fine. So why hide the Temp and fuel gauges to the user? (Dora)

If choosing the unrealistic for gameplay approach, just make it easy to see the stuff you need. Which is why they are what they are in the first place.

I don’t want to have to page down to see my WEP effects and fuel load.

In FW's i save the head position for keypad8 to low enough that i can see this stuff.

When flyin just a quick tap on KP8 and i can see what I need to

Not sure what you mean. Anyway, just update to a small digital hud readout in the corner, or cram the guages where I can see them in the normal view. Either would work for me, just not 'pagedown' all the time.

Done that for quite some time skurj, works fine in the 190 A version but in the D I wantthat view to look further up, even above sight view, as far up and quite far forward as the head can come.

Press 8 in the numeric keypad and keep it pressed, move the head down with page down till u see clearly these gauges and save the pos. Each time u want to check quickly the engine temp, just press KP8. I have it programed the same way, but with KP7 + KP1.

I set my joystick using the AH stick mapper so that in stick set 2 pushing forward on the hat gives me a forward/down view at the dashboard.
