Would this explain poor gunnery?
« on: March 19, 2002, 04:29:42 PM »
I was working with a few Bishops tonight, trying to capture A22. Managed to shoot a few acks and bomb some town buildings, but a P38 in my 12 at 300 yards refused to die. I emptied my guns into it! (Spit ix, with the optional .50 cals) The P38 finally died, and I got the kill credit, but that did not seem right, so on the way home I checked my connection :(  Would this explain the poor gunnery? I know that connections are a hot issue in this type of game, but I don't know how to interpret these graphs. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm no expert, but I believe your PC had a heart ischemia. You should get it to a cardiologist immediately for a thorough checkup.

with a connection like that with all those spikes you gotta be seeing lots of warps. the host queue AFAIK is what causes the rubber bullets. your net stat might be part of it too i guess. with the lag involved it might just be taking more time for the pieces to come off. and with the pieces not comming off when you hit them your firing more bullets into it. thats all i can think of.
